Here’s your opportunity to work with a high-performing, passionate team to promote Queenstown as the Southern Hemisphere’s premier four season lake and alpine resort. We have a 13-month fixed term position available for an experienced tourism International Trade Markets Manager.
Are you professional, well-organised, self-motivated with a strong understanding of Queenstown’s unique tourism environment and current market trends, who enjoys taking the initiative and working in a dynamic environment? Reporting to the Business Development Director and working closely with our International Trade Markets Manager for Asia, this role provides advice, training and marketing of Queenstown to international trade channels and travel sellers in our key western markets of Australia, America(s), UK and Europe. This includes itinerary development, managing our trade communications strategy and hosting of travel trade familiarisation visits. Member engagement and capability building is an integral part of the role. Experience working with Trade channels in western Markets, specifically North America would be exceptional! Domestic and international travel and flexible hours are part of this role. The contract period will be from July 2019 with exact dates to be agreed with the successful candidate.
