Rugby-mad Hermione Domingo could be the All Blacks’ good luck charm ahead of the most important World Cup match this weekend.
Hermione, 11, has spent the past year collecting 30-plus four- and five-leaf clovers from her Arthurs Point home with her mum Joanna (back, left) and dad Troy – before sending them individually-named to the All Blacks squad and coaching staff.
“Hermione sent a good luck message, hoping that the four-leaf clovers would help them,” Joanna says.
Captain Richie McCaw sent Hermione a personal thank-you letter: “Hopefully we will have enough luck now to do well in this World Cup,” he says.
